Suffolk REcording one line

Welcome to Suffolk Recording Studios located in The New Village at Patchogue. Opened in 2008 by owner Dan Welsch, the vision was simple-Create an environment in which musicians can walk in, feel comfort in creativity and walk out with a finished product they are proud to call their own. This adage has attributed to the success for the last six years as the facility has been host to many local bands and out of towners alike.

The Main Live Room design is loosely based on RCA Nashville’s Studio A. It evokes an era and a time perhaps that would be fitting for a live performance to nail down the perfect take. Spacious and airy, we can handle any size ensemble for live performance and track to track style recording. Also in the same space are several isolation areas in which we can capture other instruments in the “live” setting.

The process of recording can be the most gratifying in capable hands.  In house engineers, Brian Gabriel and Eammon Vaughn bring years of production and experience to the helm. Our goals as engineers is to appease the needs for the client, first and foremost. The musician is always placed on the highest pedestal, as we respect the space needed to accomplish an idea and see it come to fruition with you.

Suffolk Recording Studios utilizes Pro Tools HD as the main recording platform. We do offer mastering internally and we can also recommend other sources for you. Some of our control room gear also includes 24 Channels of SSL 615E Mic Pre’s and 192 interfaces, a Control 24 Surface Console and SPL Mic Pre/Compressor. We have a host of microphones to handle all recording styles. Amplifiers of notable cause, a selection of drum kits, a grand piano, a Rhodes and even an old Hammond organ are available for your use.

Our goal and mission statement here at Suffolk Recording Studios is appease all genres of music with a diversified staff and a facility that can accommodate any size group. We have set out to allow the client to absorb the creative environment by setting a mood right from the first step into the new lounge, to the control room and right into the main room.  Thank you for visiting our website. Please feel free to browse through our photos and view the latest session!!! Suffolk Recording Studios-The Vibe Is On!!!
